Yes, We're two hundred years old!
Your home town; or the town that harbored you for so much of your education; or the town where you spent significant years of your life, Alfred, will turn two hundred during the year 2007-2008.
From June 2007 ~ June 2008 the town and village of Alfred will pay homage to two centuries of Alfred history and celebrate our brilliant future.
Please consider making a donation to our bicentennial celebration. We'll kick off the year with a parade and a "taste of our history." Our community will then continue to remember our past and envision our future throughout the year with exhibits, presentations, and social events.
Upon receipt of your donation, we will send you an Alfred Bicentennial Certificate and include your name in our Bicentennial Celebration Donor Acknowledgement column in the Alfred Sun.
