Allegany Artisans Studio Tour

20 years ago a group of artists and crafts people agreed to work together to open their studios to the public for a weekend. The group chose the name “Allegany Artisans” because they worked in the Allegany foothills. They named their event the “Studio Tour” and made it an annual cooperative venture that has grown to include artisans of diverse style, taste and traditions working in a variety of mediums including clay, wood, metal, wax, fabric, paint, glass, plastic and more. Many members have established an audience and market through decades of participation in regional and
national shows.

Unlike other shows, this one is not centrally located but rather artisans open their own working studios or homes for your visit.

Talk with artisans and shop where they work and live.
